Audrey Kohler

Audrey is a poet and performing artist with strong roots in the Pacific Northwest. At twenty-one, she moved to Alaska to pursue her heart, her youth, and her spirit. She began writing, performing, and competing with her poetry as she tried making sense of herself and the world around her.

Audrey has since served on the Board of Directors of Woosh Kinaadeiyi, been a recurring featured guest on KTOO's "Telling Tales with Ms. G", and traveled with her writing workshop. She premiered her directorial debut "This Is For You" in April at the Market Theater in Seattle's Pike Place Market. She has also been honored as the Pike Place Market Laureate.

She continues to write and find ways to invite others to slow down, savor their story, and find their inner artist.

Off the page, Audrey has performed with the Juneau Lyric Opera, Unexpected Productions, and appeared in several short films.

In her spare time she enjoys visiting new spaces, writing letters, wandering through bookshops, over-caffeinating herself, and going for walks with her magical pup Merlin.

Audrey's debut poetry collection "Passenger Poet" is available wherever books are sold. This collection holds youth, self-love, and the pursuit of home in its pages. It was crafted for anyone who finds themselves restless and finds themselves looking longingly towards the horizon.
